Engaging in community activities not only enhances the well-being of individuals with disabilities but also provides opportunities for them to cultivate good health, acquire valuable skills, expand their knowledge, and enhance their employment prospects.

• Helping clients to develop new skills so that they can live as independently as possible.
• Assisting clients with exploring hobbies or new interests.
• Working with clients to manage risk, plan goals, and implement support services.
• Assisting with household tasks, such as cleaning, doing laundry, planning meals, and cooking
• Some basic first aid care, as required.
• Working closely and collaboratively with clients to explore their needs, put support in place, and create opportunities to enhance their well-being and growth.
• Supporting clients with finding or starting a new job.
• Keeping detailed records of activities performed and the client’s progress.

Supported Independent Living is funded under Core Supports – Assistance with Daily Life in your NDIS plan.

The NDIS does not fund the cost of rent, board, transport, and other day-to-day expenses such as food and activities.

Please note: We bill in line with the NDIS Price Guide, which generally increases annually.

Here’s what you need to know about our Supported Independent Living (SIL) services.

We can give you the support you need to live there.   

From day-to-day tasks to building your skills right through to overnight support, we’ve got it covered. 

• Cleaning and laundry.
• Nutrition and cooking.
• Personal care such as showering and dressing.
• Going to appointments.
• Taking up a hobby.
• Learning to catch public transport.

All our customers are part of the household routines and decisions.

This can be done in different ways depending on what each household prefers.

We’ll work closely to learn about who you are and what you like, so we can connect you with the right housemates.   

Before you move in, we will organise several ‘meet and greets’ so you can check out who you’ll be living with and their families.
